The Downs Light Railway Trust aims to ensure that its charitable activities inspire young people and adults, while allowing them to flourish in our unique environment. We are not regulated by either Office for Standards in Education or the Office of Rail and Road, yet we aspire to emulate the standards expected.

To ensure that the Downs Light Railway and the charitable Trust is able to achieve and protect these aims, we have a collection of policies that govern what we do.  The key policies are listed on this page, but if you would like access to any other policies or cannot find something you think should be accessible, then please contact the Trust's Secretary via email.
